"Like We Used To" is a creative, yet relatable, love story that takes you on a journey through the full spectrum of emotions. Knowing the characters as both adults and adolescents builds your connection and understanding of each and every choice they make. The author brings the most beautiful, and heart wrenching, scenes to life in a way that makes it impossible to put down. As I read I found myself crying and laughing with the characters, rooting them on all the way.

This book was such a great read. Hometown nostalgia meets real life. It gutted me in the best way possible and then stitched me back together again through the rollercoaster of emotions experienced by the characters. The past and present story line was so well-done, I didn't want either timeline to end! The way Jamie writes makes me want to be in that friend family, in that town, witnessing it all for myself.
